Any chance we could see the whole rifle? I've handled many sporterized 1903s and am always curious to see the variations in style.Went to the range with a couple of buddies and took a long a few rifles yesterday. One of them was a sporterized 03 Springfield. Carried the 34OT all day.

Thank you very much. I use a KME system but I swapped the stones for Venev. A fun side story. Roughly 13 years ago I was an engineer at a company that was working with KME on their design. So I actually got to help them design and make some improvements while working there. The owner of KME was super nice and one day we were talking about the system and knives. He learned I was a knife nut and gifted me a whole system.Nice work! What sharpening system did you use?
Panel board love!
I totally understand staying inside tonight. Amateur night on the roads with drunks behind the wheel. Early meal, a little TV and done for early. I doubt I am awake at 9. Just not worth the risk to be out.My Presidio2 automatic will be the knife I carry on the final day of 2023. And a lazy day it shall be. Just have to take the trash to the dump. Then I’ll be faking an illness to avoid having to see some ANNOYING relatives tonight for a NYE gathering. I’m not one to leave the house on NYE. Unless we get Chinese food. Mmm. I don’t wanna brag but I plan to in bed and fast asleep by 10. All kinds of wild over hereView attachment 2440299
Sounds good to me. I’m sure we’ll have some comfort movie on tonight as we digest our dinner. Kids will be at a sleepover. My wife will read and I’ll be checking out some knives online as I plan my next purchaseI totally understand staying inside tonight. Amateur night on the roads with drunks behind the wheel. I’m right there with you, family game night here though so maybe I’ll make it to 10. But with two nieces with younger kids maybe earlier. Sure has been a weird year with a lot of highs and lows and with the election next year I’m sure there’s going to be more unexpected happeningsI totally understand staying inside tonight. I haven't seen midnight on New Years Eve in years...Many years! I will be selling some knives come the end of January...have to figure out which ones. And as we all know, the best way to thin the herd is to buy moreI’m right there with you, family game night here though so maybe I’ll make it to 10.
