EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I’m right there with you, family game night here though so maybe I’ll make it to 10. But with two nieces with younger kids maybe earlier. Sure has been a weird year with a lot of highs and lows and with the election next year I’m sure there’s going to be more unexpected happenings🤔.
For my New Year’s resolution I pledge not to buy any more blades🤥. What’s yours?View attachment 2440332
I understand. My problem is the little ones don't call it a day at or before 10. Yes, it has been a strange year. I am sure next year will be filled with all types of happenings. I try to say it in such a way, so it is not confused with a challenge. Some take things as challenges.
My resolution is not even knife related. For the record it is not weight loss either.
Sounds just about perfect to me.......I really never got the " Times Square countdown "......Freezing your ass off, obnoxious people, drunk people...... Too many bodies in one place for my liking.........

PLEASANT DREAMS.....👍
Times Square does nothing for me. I am not a crowd person, so less is always more for me.
I haven't seen midnight on New Years Eve in years...Many years! I will be selling some knives come the end of January...have to figure out which ones. And as we all know, the best way to thin the herd is to buy moreo_O:rolleyes:. Stay safe, Everyone. See you on the flip side in '24.
Last time I was awake at midnight on New Year's Eve was 1999 into 2000.
Stay safe as well

Morning. Big knives for dinner yesterday and breakfast this morning.

Thank you very much. I use a KME system but I swapped the stones for Venev. A fun side story. Roughly 13 years ago I was an engineer at a company that was working with KME on their design. So I actually got to help them design and make some improvements while working there. The owner of KME was super nice and one day we were talking about the system and knives. He learned I was a knife nut and gifted me a whole system.
That's awesome man, thanks for sharing the story! Brian's a really good guy. That's one big thing about the KME, if anything at all wears out on your system (besides stones), he'll send you that piece immediately for free. He's super active on the KME group on facebook. He also helps people with sharpening knowledge regularly. I keep hearing stories of a customer calling him with a sharpening issue, and he stays on the phone for an hour walking the person through the sharpening session. Pretty awesome company! Any idea who manufactures the parts?

The metal parts are made at a company in North Carolina (the place I used to work). I know the stones were done with a couple companies until they got the right performance. I am unsure who does the wood components.
