EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I'm solidly in the never go out and rarely see midnight on New Year's Eve camp. Years ago we'd take the kids to First Night in Boston when they were school age, ending up down by the harbor at midnight for the fireworks. Last time we did that we froze our asses off, which put an end to those excursions.

Another time we started driving home from a southern vacation with the kids and were going through a small town late on New Year's Eve and got pulled over for driving on Dec 31 with out-of state plates. My wife got a ticket for not having an insurance card (apparently a requirement in that state and a great revenue raiser to be sure) despite the fact that MA registrations clearly indicate your carrier in an officially signed box. I took over the wheel and got off with a warning when pulled over similarly in the next town. The kids thought it wicked funny, the wife not so much.

Anyway, our trip to RI yesterday netted me an edged Christmas gift from our youngest who's into knives too. It's totally out of my usual range of makers or styles, but I'm getting into a bit and even tied a tail on today. As I needed something with Micarta to keep up my consecutive days' run of knives with that material, I second-carried this modern slip joint from lionSTEEL via Collector Knives, finishing up the year with a contrasting Wharnie two-fer.

Hope y'all have a safe and happy New Year!
