Not the poster, but I carry one a lot. Light, slim, balanced, cutting performance is good - not a premier slicer like a North Arm or TRM, but better than a lot of others, and I love the button lock. Feels great in-hand and the flipping action is spot-on. It strikes me of an "elegance of simplicity" design and it works, at least for me.

For a US-made knife without crazy pricing and some great attention to detail, I would definitely recommend checking one out.

Mine is with the reverse tanto and REC's Wooodland Camo but otherwise everything should be the same.
The knife is well balanced and feels good in the hand, the action is great and the lockup is solid, no play whatsoever.
The only thing I can think of that could improve this knife is a hollow grind.

The Malibu is an awesome button lock flipper as is it's big brother the Mordax

Thanks to all for the feedback on the Malibu. Sounds like a solid buy, I will probably move it up on the list now
