Thanks man. I use the kme system. All diamond stones. Then I strop. I tend to still have a noticeable scratch pattern because I'm impatient, so while shiny they're not true mirrors.

Weird Wednesday with a real oddball, this was listed as "Unknown Maker Thumbstud Lock Folder" and I assumed it was some version of the Michael Walker "Blade Lock" mechanism I hadn't seen before. After digging a bit it appears I actually scored a prototype of the G.Sakai "Clutch-Lock", a really cool take on the sliding bolt style Lock mechanism!
