This Prometheus STS is a hell of a knife. It's action is one of the best out of any knife that I've ever owned, as long as you like the drop shut type of folder. Fantastic knife. I got a few tiny rust spots on the blade (mine's the M390 version, not the Terravantium) a while back, they wouldn't come off by just wiping the blade down, so I ended up using a little metal polish on the tip of a Q-tip. Unfortunately, it smoothed out the glass blasted (or some type of fine media blasting) finish more than the surrounding areas so that the spots contrast from the rest of the blade. Not a big deal though since it's a user and I carry it quite a bit.

I have to attend a formal family event today. I can’t wait for my mother-in-law to corner me and start blabbing away about how she hates everyone on her side of the family and why. It wouldn’t be so bad but she speaks very loudly even though she’s a close talker (too close). I also find her smoker’s breath and messy lipstick application distracting. I swear she must put it on with her feet. So I need a lightweight carry (and a lot of Advil). This Civivi will do nicely. Please just let this day be over.

I did install them. They are oil slicked zirconium. Made by Metonboss.
