Thanks! I want to say it was their "Emerald". I use "Tropical Teal" often, but IIRC I wanted to try something different with this one. I tried searching in the "Can't leave anything alone" thread but I guess for some reason I didn't document this project there. I really need to start writing these things down.

GB2 today not knife pic's but wanted to share, wife's nephew is a Navy Aviator was able to fly in for the weekend and we were able to go out to meet him on the tarmac as they taxied in.

Time for another cup then out to mow
Havenāt been posting much lately as weāve had our hands full with this move. Three weeks until we close on the sale of our FL home and we still havenāt found a new place.
And Iāll tell yaāā¦.downsizing sucks. It has put a spotlight on the fact that I have far too many knives for any ārationalā human beingā¦.a fact that was previously kept in the shadows (particularly from my wife) via creative storage solutions and plenty of closet space.
But the cat's outta the bag now and Iāve been exposed. Outed. Iāve got knives sprawled everywhere trying to figure out what to do with them. My wife said āOh dear lord you need an interventionā. My son, who I can always count on to take my side, said āGeez, Dadā¦Iām actually with mom on this oneāā¦ā¦and our dog just shook her head, turned and walked away. She wonāt make eye contact with me now. Iām also pretty sure I overheard one of the neighbors say something along the lines of āWow, he always came across as a fairly normal guyā. I mean, wtf?!??
My point? Well, it should be fairly obvious; Iām surrounded by whacktoads. Bahahaha
Anyway, in honor of scoring a āBasset Houndā from the Keanison drop this morning (okay, I hear it now. My wife may be on to something)ā¦.Iām carrying their first production knife today; the āFidoā:

I carried this one a lot back in that same 2011 time period, but it has sat pretty dormant the last many years. Awesome little knives. The lockbar disengages like it isn't even touching the blade, but somehow the blade is solidly locked up. I would love to find one of the larger 7505 models, but those seem to be very difficult to find these days.
