Well, I'm back after a week in the hills at our Vermont camp and a couple days catching up here. The leaves were all out and lush up north since our earlier sojourn about a month back. With no internet and almost non-existent cell signal--blocked by all the miles foliage surrounding the cabin--I took the week off from knife pics and posting again. I used to take 10-15 knives with me to work on, fondle, and use along with lots of knife tools and my EdgePro. Lately it's been about a half dozen mostly modest knives, a few tools, lube, and the SharpMaker. I carried my PJ SHF on the way up and kept it with me all week, never touching the knife bag I brought along and took back home unopened. I did manage a couple pics of the Harsey early on though.
Here's the north side of our camp with the Ranger parked under its shed roof...
....a shot of the woodshed and with the outdoor gear, tool, and misc storage shed behind...
...and the Ranger at work using the winch and a tow strap to help re-right the outhouse which needed a new rear sill and a couple blocks as it had decomposed along with it's contents. It wasn't an elegant repair, but after all it is a sh*thole.
