EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

48 years on this Earth for me today. My eldest kiddo offered to take us out to supper, but instead I opted to just have her get some things for me to throw on the grill for us all. She came through with some nice steaks and a few Sockeye filets for some surf&turf 😋. She also brought a watermelon with a request that I make some agua fresca, to which I'm gonna add some of our own blueberries since they are plentiful in the garden at the moment. So I'll just be chillin' around the pad with the family, listening to tunes, and making that today.

Carrying a favorite for the morning, along with wearing a birth-year timex that seemed fitting for the day. I may switch it up at some point, and I hope to get some pics up from the past few days as well, as it's been a fun weekend :cool:

Had to comeup with a sketch for a fixed blade I will attempt under supervision and walkthrough. Here it is.
It took its roots from a shiro, then i did some things I don't see much of and maybe for a good reason . So not sure how the plunge line is going to look like going backwards. Will it be expectation vs reality? hehe. Will see.
Otherwise carrying manix and almost ready to send zt back to my friend, but ordered a black deep carry clip for it to surprise him.

Did a bit of transplanting Sunflowers today, hopefully they'll take off. It's hot as hell here and they looked very sad after being put in the new spot. Only time will tell I guess. The Petrified Fish 818 did most of the work, my other knives get really jealous of it in fact, because this thing gets the brunt of most of the really hard outside work while I'm at home. To this day it still continues to surprise me by how good it is. I've been really fantasizing about getting a Cold Steel AD-10 to take this role. Usually my interest in getting a knife will fade after some time, but this one has continued to interest me for months and months for some reason. Had the iMamba with me as well.

There’s something so satisfying about playing in the dirt no mater what comes up🤔. Was cussing out the hot weather until I marked the height of the tomatoes and watched how they grew in just a day🤗 cucumbers also like the warmth

Sometimes, I think about selling all of my other pocket-carry folders in its size range, because, for me, nothing else can top this.

Then I think about selling all of my ~7" fixed blades and buying a Green Beret or Pacific. Is something wrong with me?!

I LOVE my Spydercos, ZTs and Cold Steels, but damn, son...feels like I don't carry anything else half as much.
