As you mentioned listening to tunes as part of that, every time I see your vintage Sony I'm reminded to hook up my late parents' stereo that I took up to our camp in Vermont. I finally got to it on our latest trip up a couple weeks back, setting up M&D's Pioneer SX-3500--contemporaneous with and somewhat similar to your receiver--along with the pair of Cambridge SoundWorks Model 6's that I bought them after they'd moved down to here the Cape from up north. It's not a powerful unit, but has a nice clean, full sound through those bookshelf speakers (I have a pair here as my surrounds) and is more than adequate for our listening pleasure up at camp.
Enjoy your day, my friend!
Happy Birthday!48 years on this Earth for me today. My eldest kiddo offered to take us out to supper, but instead I opted to just have her get some things for me to throw on the grill for us all. She came through with some nice steaks and a few Sockeye filets for some surf&turf. She also brought a watermelon with a request that I make some agua fresca, to which I'm gonna add some of our own blueberries since they are plentiful in the garden at the moment. So I'll just be chillin' around the pad with the family, listening to tunes, and making that today.
Carrying a favorite for the morning, along with wearing a birth-year timex that seemed fitting for the day. I may switch it up at some point, and I hope to get some pics up from the past few days as well, as it's been a fun weekend

You have your vitamin “C”, I have my vitamin “L”my son and I hiked up to one of our favorite lakes and then to the ridge above for a view of Rainier. Probably about an 8 or so miler, but we explored around a bit as well. We took a swim in the lake, then had a meal of beef jerky, cheese, and apples. I haven't made it out as much as I would have liked to yet this summer, so it was a welcome getaway.

Thanks man. I do try and make an effort. Especially on panels and exposed workYou do good work. Your conductors are well labeled and your gutters are always clean and neat and the load looks well balanced. I wish I could get all sparkies to do this kind of work. Cheers brother![]()
