Yesterday's carry 
EDIT: The jerky and cheese must've attracted some attention. When we got up from the log after our break we walked a few yards and were greeted by a nice sized bear just a few feet off the trail. So stealthy that we thought it was a chipmunk or something small until we looked up. Luckily we were on our way out of that spot anyway so we just picked up the pace a bit and it didn't follow.
Didn't feel like cooking so we grabbed a local favorite of ours. Swapped to Victorinox carry for the evening

Thanks man! All shot on phone (Sony Xperia). I do also carry a little Sony RX100 which used to be what the majority of my pics were taken on, but unfortunately since uploading has become more and more of a hassle with subsequent Windows updates
I've been using it much less lately. The natural beauty of the area must really get most of the credit for the good pics anyway

I love this Buck 112. And the patina that is on it right now is just crazy, one of the coolest looking ones I've ever seen. It actually kinda reminds me of that "oil slick" finish on zirconium. The last time I took it out I brightened it up a little bit and got rid of any corrosion and the green stuff that builds up on brass with some metal polish on a rag. Then I degreased it with rubbing alcohol, then I Renaissance Waxed the entire knife, and gave it a few coats before lightly buffing it down with a rag. The sheath did the rest.

Thanks, man! I'm trying to get one of each color. The blue has been one of the hardest to get -- very illusive.
The only color I'm still needing is the Natural (Gray). I'll be sure to post a familiy pic once the collection is complete...
