Started out with the Kizer but since mail watch is over and a new box needs to be opened the Assassin will take a rest after the chore. It’s been in my pocket since yesterday and if my pajamas had a pocket I would of slept with it

The burn factor is strong. They look tasty

Today was a busy day. My daughter and I visited radon lakes.

Found several trilobites.

Then we visited a pagan place of power.

We looked at an old fortress from the 15th century

and walked along the waterfalls of the river that flows along the fortress.

The day ended with dinner at Fort Krasnaya Gorka, on the Gulf of Finland.

Not sure what the menu was, but I know it tastes better with that view

Brother I understand. My upstairs one has the entire floor. The 4 downstairs ones have several rooms and the basement

We've always had dogs & cats, and they've all been spoiled. Even the hunting dogs. I've come to the conclusion that we don't train them. They train us.

I'm in love with his knives. Fit and finish are perfection in every way. Every blade centered. Zero blade play. Solid walk and talk, but not the best. He leaves a generous amount of blade near the tip for gripping, so pull is very easy, I'd say a 5. I've got about 5 of his now. I just wish he'd opt for more steel options and higher grades. However I'm a fan of N690 and damasteel, so I'm all in for his knives no matter what!

I switched up knives after lunch as there's a small dead tree over on our garage lot that's been bugging me for a while that I figured I'd drop this afternoon. I started the day out with my Olamic Rainmaker, but changed from the shorts and sneaks I wore on my morning walk into jeans and work boots before pocketing my work-user PJ SHF. There was very little yield out that snag and the bolts just barely filled up my wife's garden wagon. Still, there's a little winter heat there....
