Got me a new toy! The Benchmade 745 mini Dejavoo. This model is one that goes way back for me and brings me great nostalgia! I remember going into the knife store at the mall in my younger days and always ogling at this knife, and the Al Mar SERE 2000. In my younger eyes those were the 2 most beautiful, and best made knives I had ever seen. I eventually ended up getting both years later, however being who I am, I compromised on both purchases and ended up finding really good deals on users with coated blades on both of them, however I really always wanted the satin blades. That kind of always bummed me out that I didn't wait and get them in the variation that I really wanted. Then, years after that I sold both in a time of great need and horrendous life decisions. Well.. I finally came across one the other day for a reasonable price and am super happy with it! A very cool Lum design. And here it is with my Chaparral that I carry often.

If that view was in my backyard, I would spend a lot of time on the deck relaxing
Today was a busy day. My daughter and I visited radon lakes.
I really like that recurve. I’ve been looking at the Toor XT1 which has a similar blade shape.Nice day yesterday with my old recurve, Emerson commander is a little big for what I prefer to carry but sure brings back memories![]()
