I like to make my own patches out of old shirts. Cheaper yea, but less “fuzz” to deal with. Easy work with this

Only managed to make it out once this week, but it was a good one 
This was about 5 miles in. Not a bad place to have breakfast
From there we headed up a few more miles. No discernable trail for the most part, just scrambling up the rocks wherever it seemed safest. It wasn't long before we got above all but the slightest of vegetation. It was really cool but a bit eerie, almost felt lunar.
