It’s so worth it!Haha thanks man. I wish the birds would land in my hand outside while I'm filling their birdseed everyday, but they haven't yet. Although now that I think about it, I've never tried. It takes a patient person to get a wild bird to land in your hand, I'm not sure if I have that patience. Maybe that'll be my new goal for a picture outside.![]()
Glad to see someone talking about the PF818. Its lines really speak to me, and I find myself carrying mine over other blades an order of magnitude higher priced. My one gripe with it is that I wish the clip was deeper carry, but this is a minor gripe - it’s still great.First Fuente Friday of 2025 and carrying a couple of David Chen designs. The PF818 is practically a modern classic and the new TS519 is a great partner. It has some nice ergonomic touches that really make the smaller handle and larger blade work together. It's also 14C28N, which I love in both budget knives and fixed blades in general.
The TS519 was almost a contender for production fixed blade of the year but aside from getting it with just a couple of days left in the year, there is one issue holding it back. While getting a full grip on the draw is awesome, the fine heel of that blade is right on my finger. I haven't had any issues but I am conscious of it, so I'll probably do a safety mod.
