EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Just finishing adding a Black Nitride hardware kit to the Eklipse . Came out really good 👍🏻👊🏻

A better shot away from the window that made it look faded.

The last picture looks like a new knife.
Sweet knife! I do also like the "faded" look.

That SHF is beautiful every time I see it I get close to pulling the trigger on one.
Thanks! I don't think you'd be disappointed if you take the plunge.

I was doing pretty well holding back on buying knives, but couldn't resist when a friend here wrote and offered this one to me ahead of listing it on the Exchange. Not only is the engraving and anodizing so visually detailed and physically well executed, but it surprisingly adds a fine grippiness to the feel of the knife in hand.

I couldn't help but get out my other engraved SHF to compare, and the NorthWest Coast feels a bit grippier than my two plain-finished editions, but there's more un-engraved real estate on the NWC so it's maybe a little slicker in spots, though it's only really noticeable in a pinch grip. The Spartan Harseys, in the saber grip, are virtually a perfect match for my hand with my fore and middle fingers in the first two choils, the last two along the double swale with the pinky locked onto the bottom jimping, and the thumb along the top splitting the spine jimping on the blade and scales. Must be why I have four larges. 🤷‍♂️

I also couldn't help but take a couple pics of those two either.... 😏

I've only managed to avoid the plunge because I promised myself I'd only pick up one if someone put up one I like here on the exchange, and they must be lovely because I've almost never seen one listed.

Good Morning BF!

BTW, this AB Imamba's RWL-34 blade is mirror polished...I could not for the life of me get the camera to focus. These two photos were the best of the bunch. HA

Beautiful and very functional !
Does not get better than this !
I have come to appreciate how well a polished knife can slide through hard to cut stuff .

Newsflash! This was on the road when we took our morning walk yesterday. The Amish around here have obviously started using elephants to pull their buggies. That pile is at least 12" across & 6" high. That's a 3 5/8" Alox Pioneer beside it.:)

There is a lot of that going around these days .
Some times it seems to collect on it's own with no credible source .
