EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I have always wanted a Dozier pocket knife but never purchased and see now they command some green backs to buy. Decided to settle the itch with the Ka-bar in D2, came in today. Oh my so stiff and one could hurt a finger trying to use the stud, good thing it can be pinched open easily. We see if it loosens up but for the cost think I could enjoy it. Did search for an original, available but....hum we shall see but did not jump to purchase. Dosier Pocket.jpg

Have the same Dozier in my backpack. You will be able to thumb flick it with time. Great budget EDC.

Getting back into my cardio laps again, I sported b-ball shorts on this almost-warm early Spring day and set my new-to-me Cheburkov Snach aside in favor of its much lighter comrade, the small Strizh, carried IWB.

Later, back in the house after lunch and a couple hours of desk work, I looked for the just acquired Cheburkov and spent a half-hour combing four of our five house levels and the wood shop next door for it until my gracious and always helpful wife found it for me tucked in an odd spot under the TV and on top of the AV component rack. It must have just lost its way in its new home.

These two quite different knives shared a common birthplace in Pavlovo, Nizhny Novgorod on the banks of the Oka some three years apart and here they are together now on a sand spit in the Atlantic on the other side of the world.
