I love these little guys. The utility knife of folders.

Have to repair some Door casings today and these 3 are with me. The case has done some light shaving for some perfect fit work. The inkosi tanto is awesome at scraping stuff. The Arno is just kinda hanging out. No use for him yet today.

What is that beautiful blade?

I wrote about this knife a little earlier.

Winter has come to St. Petersburg again.

I don't know what to say about this knife. It is produced by a small workshop "Первый цех (First Workshop)" in Moscow. They specialize in skeleton knives. They also sometimes produce such folding knives. Each design is made in a small batch of 20-50 pieces. This design is called "Hunting the Chieftain".

The blade is 95 mm long, K110 61-62 Hrc steel, the handle is made of 95X18 stainless steel. There are more expensive options, on them the design is made with hot enamel.
I really like the knife. It is comfortable, cuts very aggressively. It is similar to the Buck 110, only twice as light and the handle is twice as thin.

Teardown Tuesday! Taking a peek inside the VC Edge "Interface" One thing I forgot to mention in the video is the bearings are very effectively shielded from dirt/lint/etc due to the depth of the bearing pockets in the blade/handle...just another little design feature to keep it running smoothly
