I upped my Spydie level today, physically, from the middle of the 3-tiered storage where most of those knives are kept, value-wise, in terms of price and materials, and aesthetically, in appearance and design. Not that there's anything wrong, per se, with the Tenacious I carried and used most effectively yesterday, but this Millie is definitely a step up, making this both a Fluted Ti and a Tip-Down, Tuesday.

Carried these today. I really like both of these and carry them quite a bit. I really bonded with the Hinderer Firetac today. I was really looking over it closely today and it really impressed me. It's a Gen 1 with the Teflon washers. I don't know if you can change the washers on a Gen 1, anybody done that before?

I don't think you can go to bearings because you need that race/groove if that’s what you mean .
