Trying to get some mowing done before baseball tournament this weekend. View attachment 2852595 Also trying to break in some new Nicks boots. Both pair showed up after about a six month wait. One Wellington and one moc toe wedge. These are my first dives into PNW boots and man this is some stiff leather and builds. You can really see the craftsmanship and quality in them. Break in is gonna be pretty rough but no doubt they’ll last a very long time

For Easter day my in pocket carry but think I will need something a big larger for slicing the ham....hum maybe I can find something in my collection....however these should take care of any of the side dishes....and dessert. Gonna need a spoon for the ice cream though, pie ala mode yum.

Staying with the budget knife theme through the weekend.

Walmart finally had their Benchmade Bugout knock off in stock. Been trying to get one for around a year now.

Crazy how good of a folder this is.

If my dad was still around he would say “this is the only knife you need son”. Miss you pops.

Excellent action, (better than the Bugout) nice size and weight. Has steel liners so it’s not flimsy like the Bugout. Some kind of coating on blade (maybe paint?) that’s not applied evenly along the bevel and I’m sure will wear off quickly. D2 steel came pretty sharp as well. Both of these had blade play but once I tightened them just about a half turn on the pivot, fixed it completely. I assumed that since I tightened it it would no longer have the smooth action. I was wrong. Same perfect action. Flipped this for like 30 minutes last night after I got them.

How is it possible it can be this good for $10?!

Anyway bought two more today so I could put them on the cycle tank bags. I’ll be carrying one regular around the house on weekends.

Definitely sleeper of a knife right here from the Walmart for $9.97.
