Everything in the bathroom is very much a work in progress. That's pretty much the case throughout the house we built, where we raised our now-grown sons, and have lived in the last 45 years, as most of it is very much in need of refreshing. The old tile floor is gone and will be replaced with sheet goods. I've re-finished the two 6-panel pine entry doors--hall and pocket door to our BR-- their trim, and jambs, and installed new hardware. There are a number of tub shower tiles to replace, re-grout, and caulk.Would love to see pictures of your work.
The corner vanity I built years ago got its face and sides sanded and refinished along with new Shaker style doors and drawers that I built, urethaned, and installed.

Behind the soaking tub/shower is a long-leaf counter, like the vanity's, under the window with what was an open shelf unit that was badly in need of clean-up. The window sash and stops were removed and will get sanded and refinished over in the wood shop. I sanded the window trim and shelf carcass in place, after removing the shelf standards, and it's face frame to re-glue and sand in the shop. I added a mid-rail, reinstalled the face, and will make the upper into a closed cabinet with mortise and tenon doors to match the vanity. I had to fill the ploughs in the lower section that will remain open and stained them to match the older wood. My wife will clean up the ceiling between the beams and paint all that and the walls while I build the cabinet doors and window sash and stops in the shop next door. I'll eventually build some shallow shelf/drawer units to wall mount over either wing of the vanity.

There is a knife in the pic above, but just to stay squarely on topic, here's the old school Cheburkov I carried again today, though it didn't do much but cut Frog Tape and open a box.
