EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I'm still trying to reach a conclusion about the new Opinel "Opiflex" Neo 6 with walnut knickers. The slip joint design seems geared for legal carry in non-locking jurisdictions, and the rounded tip is intended to appease fat, unhappy, forty-something unmarried women in the workplace who want everyone to be as hopeless and unhappy as they are. The slip joint design is slightly easier to deploy than the traditional locking ring, and I am groovy with that. Lockup is strong, and will not fold on your fingers if you are using it as a knife and not a prybar. I do miss the pointy tip like God intended - assuming that God has not already departed France. The leather lanyard is fashioned from the corpse of a genuine French cow. Opinel says that the leather is "recycled", and I fear to imagine what that means. Was it formerly the sweaty bicycle seat of that fat, hopeless office woman? But for $30, its a fun and functional new EDC that covers the great majority of my daily needs. It comes razor sharp from the Frenchy Factory as do all Opinels, and is super lightweight in the pocket.

Looks good in walnut and a few minutes on a stone returns the pointy tip. I may have to get one of these.

I should get a 29 but have a 20 so not sure. I have a 30 that is a great shooter. It gets carried a lot.
I love how the holster is getting that well used look.
Thanks yeah the Crossbreed is getting some patina now. I bought the 29 since it was a “little” more compact in hopes I would carry it more and have. I had a G30 years ago loved it and I think I put a NewYork trigger on that one. It was a sweet shooter although the one and only gun I’ve ever hit a hanger with 🤪 the ranger master came out and said wow you did a good job on that one hahaha it was all deformed like it got hit by a truck lol. Think at the time they added 35 bucks to my bill lol. I was using the reset to tighten up my grouping and was on my second box and was thinking I was getting a little tired and thought that was going to be it. After the shot I was coming down after the rise and bam 😳
Had some buddies with me to and in all my years the only time I hit a hanger and of course now they had the chance to harass me since I always out shot them 😆 They still bring it up periodically to this day lol.
