Yup!! 6 hours up on this beauty yesterday, 100° on the ground, didn’t even want to know the temp up there…..absolute torture!!

Not sure which is worse, heat index temps like you two are dealing with or actual temps of -40F to -50F with wind chills 20 to 30 degrees colder.

Two from the only knife show ever attended. Bought both knives from the makers and who had their wife with them so it felt like buying from family.
The folder is by Daniel Stucky and the fixed blade is by Ken Mcfall. Sadly the next year the show was cancelled so never got to another. What another bucket list item....lol.

Cold is definitely worse! IMHO

Machinery wise, cold is worse. At the temps I mentioned, which happened in SW Minnesota in late 1996 and early 1997, even with layering, it was tough to get on enough clothing to stay warm when working outside.
