EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I started off this morning on my 2 mile walk before it got too hot, sticking my HAP40/SUS410 Delica IWB in B-ball shorts. It might not have been the best idea as the knife came out after with the Pakkawood scales pretty wet and a lot of moisture on the blade. I wiped it all down and ran a thin cotton swab between the scales and it seems none the worse for wear. After a shave, shower, and lunch I got ready for a trip up-Cape with my wife to see my cardio doc and on to some grocery shopping on the way back. I decided on a bigger version of the same knife in more substantial shorts and, eschewing the Police as overkill for such a trip, settled on the Endura as an appropriate carry.

As I'd had 'em all out today I figured I'd go with some group shots with all three late this afternoon.

Some time back, our friend abbazaba abbazaba posted a pic here focusing on the spines of the Delica and Endura versions of these KC exclusives, as those were the first two models offered in this configuration. The contrast of their bright, sanded, stainless satin spines against the wood scales really caught my eye, leading to my eventual acquisition of these three. I doubt I'll ever catch up with our colleague's accumulation, as he now has 5 models in Pakkawood and laminated steel, so here's all I can presently offer to invoke his pic from years ago.

Not a single inlaid ruby to lose.
😂 thats funny and the baklash is such a great budget blade with a nice hollow!

Enjoying some vacation time off and just got this Qvist invert Ti in which cost me about the same as a Baklash.
Designed by Jacob Lundquist and OEM by QSP i believe, it definitely punches above its price point, if you like the quirky design. Surprisingly good F+F and action too! Always wanted to check one out for its uniqueness and it’s kinda cool too imo.

I'm still trying to reach a conclusion about the new Opinel "Opiflex" Neo 6 with walnut knickers. The slip joint design seems geared for legal carry in non-locking jurisdictions, and the rounded tip is intended to appease fat, unhappy, forty-something unmarried women in the workplace who want everyone to be as hopeless and unhappy as they are. The slip joint design is slightly easier to deploy than the traditional locking ring, and I am groovy with that. Lockup is strong, and will not fold on your fingers if you are using it as a knife and not a prybar. I do miss the pointy tip like God intended - assuming that God has not already departed France. The leather lanyard is fashioned from the corpse of a genuine French cow. Opinel says that the leather is "recycled", and I fear to imagine what that means. Was it formerly the sweaty bicycle seat of that fat, hopeless office woman? But for $30, its a fun and functional new EDC that covers the great majority of my daily needs. It comes razor sharp from the Frenchy Factory as do all Opinels, and is super lightweight in the pocket.
Best written review of 2025 thus far.
