It was kind of an odd afternoon as we drove down to the elbow to the closest Job Lot to pic up a few items we usually get from their deeply discounted inventory. That branch was poorly stocked and kind of a mess, so we left and drove up-Cape along the Sound Side to the branch two towns west that had most of what we needed, then further west another two towns to the next store to complete our list. After stopping to fuel up on the way home we ended up driving maybe 45 miles round trip. We probably still ended up saving a few bucks but it ate up a lot of the day, though we do enjoy riding around in the Charger.
We had nice weather after two days of rain and I was gonna get some knife pics at Golden Hour when we got home, but the light dims early this time of year this far east and our too long trip found the sun sunken in the Bay and left me taking some quick, dark pics on our front stoop's rail. I'm late posting too as today has turned to tomorrow after watching the local channel post-game show after our Red Sox clinched a play-off berth, the game blacked out to us as MLB's money grab had it exclusively on Apple TV. You can only have so many subscriptions....
Still, it's Spyderpalooza and I gotta let y'all see my trusty old Endura that spent the day in my pocket and sliced up some of the packaging when we got home.

The Winkler is such a comfortable carry with Leather/Kydex sheath ....
And this is why I don't have daggers (besides this one) ... should have used the Winkler:
Doesn't cut very well either, except my finger. Plus, I washed it yesterday afternoon after the pear, and now it doesn't work - have to open it up .... Expensive junk !
