I prefer my CRKs rare as well done reduces toughness and makes the edge brittle and chippy.

My nickname for the AK-47 is "Oops! All Handles," like the version of Cap'n Crunch that's just berries . . . but darn if that long handle isn't comfortable and incredibly secure. It gives this knife the reach of one with a longer blade, too, and I can see the pommel being a useful light hammer.

I was always baffled by this design based on the specs and product photos, but it clicks now that I can actually handle it. If you like this style of aggro tactical/work knife, the AK-47 is an interesting one; the name, specs, and marketing make it easy to overlook.

How much was the good tall mug?

As your queries are so often more like ironic riddles, my friend, then the mug did indeed cost waaaaay less than the mac, the knife, and was even cheaper than the can of coffee that I brewed from, despite it being an essential component of the experience. Otherwise it was like 2 bucks from a discount store.

BTW, the beautiful summer day was free.
