Love the wood handles. What type of wood is pictured?

to be honest I believe that two are a curly maple and the EDC hopefully Eric can help with that. Either way he does an excellent job with his finish work and the blade is the true hero.

I believe the Santoku has curly Tasmanian Blackwood, the gyuto has curly black olive and the EDC is in Karelian birch.

Her: The "Seriously" glare.

Me: Slowly wipes blade and slides knife back in pocket.

Nice Blackfoot! That burl is really cool. I used to have the standard Blackout with the checkered pattern wood scales, just before Benchmade bought them out, I wish I still had that thing!

Thanks! It's one of my all time favorites. Small but really solid. I had one of the D/A ones that Benchmade put out but it just didn't have quite the same feel.

Decided to roll with the Eagle Talon today. I think it's in buckeye burl. This one is a D/A. I love that it has two deployment options.
