Correct. The seller stated that he commissioned the removal. It’s well done. According to the ol’ interwebs, MachineWise doesn’t offer that option….yet.

Yeah it was years ago I was making a delivery to a wrecking yard and saw it .

It reminds me of the MRAPs that had hit an IED that were in the yard next to our compound in Afghanistan!

They sell ‘em on the TRM website for a few bucks per handful. Beware though, shipping will cost ya 3x as much……might as well buy another knife to even things out.

Thanks brother ! I haven’t tried it yet. REX45 and 15V made me a little wary for the same reason…..and held up fine after a second sharpenning. As you said though pard, use it for cutting and no chippy chippy, right ? I love the toughness of Cruware and even Magnacut excels for my needs. Delta 3V…absolutely!

OK, I won’t turn this into a “steel snob” thing. My experience is limited and there’re so many great purpose-made steels out there. Have a great night, my friend.
