As far as snubbed go, compared to the 5 or 6 I’ve had in the past, it is superb.

In truth, I bought it for my wife but convincing her that I’d keep it loaded w/ .38 +p failed miserably when I had her shoot it the first time. I had snuck some .357 mag silver tips back in it. As expected, it was a little snappy, lol !

I strongly recommend the pistol. It conceals well as has a very crisp single action pull. The double action pull moderately heavy and long but very smooth. Sights are great and even the wood grips are comfortable under recoil.

I find Snubs to be kind of a mixed bag 😂 They hurt the palm quite a bit and aren’t exactly the easiest to shoot, but conceal so well and can be shot from a pocket (even better with a concealed hammer DAO).

That said, I do own a few wheel guns and carry a S&W snubby as my secondary sometimes. They have their place 😂

Has she shot it since? I take is she forgave you for that.
When I loaded full power 357 loads in my wife's Security Six and put my hand over her forehead she almost did not pull the trigger. She did but only once. That was in 1991. It has not been loaded with full power loads unless I am carrying or shooting it.

Yes, she forgave me. It usually stays at home stored in a way that she can quickly access it. The recoil really is manageable, even w/ hot loads and small hands. I guess my “reverse psychology” didn’t have the desired affect, though.
