Big fan of the J frame “hammerless” for cc. Accuracy is difficult for me beyond 10 yards but it sure goes bang bang when you pull.I find Snubs to be kind of a mixed bagThey hurt the palm quite a bit and aren’t exactly the easiest to shoot, but conceal so well and can be shot from a pocket (even better with a concealed hammer DAO).
That said, I do own a few wheel guns and carry a S&W snubby as my secondary sometimes. They have their place![]()

Years a go I had a Colt Officers model SA 45acp and it was a little cannon. My forehead survived a weekend shooting in the desert but my hand was torn up literally was ripping the skin off my hand lol. Fortunately had a few other guns to shoot to and that’s when I learned and got some practice shooting with my weak hand since my other hand was toast lol.
