The wifey’s surgery in Thessaloniki, Greece went very well today and she’s recovering nicely. Now begins a string of slow days filled with endearing time together, healing away from home.

Albeit challenging to keep up on the passion for all things sharp and shiny over here, I managed to steal a quick pic of my “utilitarian, task-oriented, unassuming, and non-weapon-like” Greece EDC.



Almost forget, I was able to catch the first half at the airport last night and the second half on the flight. The Hawks aren’t looking bad.

Much appreciated brother. Being that you are a true “world traveler”, do you have any food recommendations for us ? We love the food here but are not well versed on such things.

Yes Santa forgot to put utility blades in my stocking. Ive always hated him for that...

Never been in Greece, sorry. But the kitchen is close to what I know well (Persian and Turkish), so I’d probably stick to Kebab in the beginning - lamb, chicken, or beef or even pork in Greece (Souvlaki). Cool salty yoghurt drinks, and filled wine leaves - like that. Not sure if this helps.
