EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Mornin guys. Had a pretty chill nice day yesterday. Saw a coconut at the store friday and thought it'd be fun to crack open, plus I just haven't had coconut in a long time, so I decided to grab one. The SAK awl worked perfectly for drilling into it to retrieve the coconut milk/water. I couldn't decide what knife to use to crack it open, but I settled on this old Kershaw. Worked great! The coconuts are called "easy crack" because they have these very shallow lines that someone probably just did one swipe with a handheld manual saw on, didn't do much good. I would have rather it have not been "easy crack" at all, because I like the challenge with my knives, but that's all they had. But the combo of knives worked very well!

Very nice photos. Cool Kukri, too, didn't know Kershaw made one in the past.

See all better now. Actually been a hard day for me also. My dad of 93 years passed away mid morning. Knew it eas coming but not this soon. Was hard for me to see him using a walker and really doing nothing else. He was a very successful business man and always very active. We hunted and fished everywhere together. Golf actually you name it we did it. I took his wedding band off him. Hes worn it from 1953 when He married. Mom passed in 2020. I'm also at peace that he's not knowing that thats all life had left for him.

Sounds like he was a good man. I’m sorry for your loss.

Even though I spent a good part of the day at BF and looking up knife stuff online, I never did get around to posting yesterday's carry here. I pocketed my NeOn UL as I had been following some recent discussion about that model at the Bears' Den and posted there about mine along with some thoughts about small vs large knives. Here's that Small Shiro Sunday carry then, which followed consecutive days of carrying two of my largest Russian blades.
