EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I'm surprised, both my Biryukov's have been excellent. However, i did disassemble and clean the black grease out of the pivot/bearings, replaced with oil, and the flip great now. I did the same with my Cheburkov.
I got the black gunk out of that one a long time ago as I do with all my Russians and any knives that come with greased pivots. The #9's flipping action is entirely due to the soft detent and works well enough with the right technique. My other two--a Sigma and a #10--are much snappier.

My only issue with either of those is the stubby clip on the #10 which is really tough in and out of pocket. I wrote to Biryukov, as the #10's come with longer clips now, but never heard back. I wrote to Alex at BTS in February to see if he could get me one. He got back the same day, but said he hasn't done business for quite some time with Andrey and there's "no mail between countries right now...."

That's got to be hard on Alex. I noticed his stock on his website was low. I wish I had the money to pick up another one from him.

Morning guys. Two of my favorites.

I found this tree on the trails down the way from my place. The Forest Service must have planted a bunch of saplings down along the creek/trail, but they forgot this one and I found it sitting on it's side still in the pot. I carried it home a couple miles and it's been sitting next to where I usually take my knife pictures until a couple days ago, I planted it in the ground. Everything is starting to bloom so I figured it's time.
