EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Morning.

"rotated out": in a state of mental fatigue caused by changing and photographing knives every day.

Guys, that's how I feel since a few weeks .... so I'll stop for a while and carry only these three for a little bit:

Inkosi for chores, Hinderer for fun.

Could be worse :) Cheers.

Doing lots of yard work today with our county schools out today and my kiddo home. Carrying my spyderco endura 4 today. This is my favorite work knife especially wearing heavy leather gloves. Bonus photo for you all is the Artemis 2 rocket from last week prior to a great launch. 20260403_090302.jpg20260403_090313.jpg20260326_160803.jpg

I like to switch up, and carry something different once in a while, but I've found that a Buck 112 & Alox Pioneer combination suits my needs the best. Not very exciting, but I'm an old geezer, and when I find something that works for me, I tend to stay with it until I find something better. The search continues though.:)

Back to desk duty today, but at least I have my buddy Amos with me.

They are a big help. We've always had labs, and they just think that hoomans aren't capable of doing even the simplest task without their help. This is Gunny. This guy latched onto me when he was a pup, and he was my constant companion wherever I went, and whatever I was doing. He's been gone for about five years, and I still miss him.

I lost my yellow lab, Tek a couple years ago. He was my shadow and was so sweet to my little kids. It’s amazing how much you can love an animal and how good they can be for your life. Amos is an English cream golden retriever but I have 3 other dogs, 2 lab/pyrenees and one standard poodle.

Here’s a photo of my Tek:

I know where you're comin' from, R. Changing isn't much effort, as all but my dedicated in-vehicle spare and contingency knives are kept right where I sleep and dress, but the whole fresh pic thing gets to be a bit much if the weather's bad or I'm particularly busy, especially during my youth b-ball season. I usually take a bunch of pics, throw out most of them, edit and move the keepers to my laptop where I post from. I'll have enough to post in multiple threads without repeats, but have found more recently it easy to grab and carry the same knife from where it's been overnight and use any leftover pics the next day. Ergo...

OTOH, I got thinking about the AFCK's size in relation to my 610 and 615 Rukus knives, and got those out along with a few other BMK biggies and could well end up taking some group pics later and posting those anyway, as I'm feeling lazy and having a leisurely day here. 🤷‍♂️

Thanks, S !

BTW, the AFCK is the only Benchmade that I was ever interested in, your great pictures don't make abstinence easier :)

I've never done well with Spyderco. Nothing against them I own several but always manage to break the tip or screw em up in some way. The sub hilt just seems to fit my needs. Cool to look at but heavy duty enough for work and me lol.
I’m not a Spydie guy either but with some of the ones you guys have been posting lately, I could definitely see that changing.
