I don’t think I can talk you into it brother. It’s a fantastic knife for sure but for the price you pay and for as little as you’d be able to carry it I just don’t think it’s worth it for you. I’ve been carrying mine every day for the last couple weeks and I barely deploy it for fear of Karen’s.Terry, I absolutely love the looks and everything I’ve read about the G&G Hawk Deadlock. CONGRATULATIONS !!! Sadly, I can’t justify the price since my state laws make it illegal to carry, unless I were to be on duty.
You and @woodysone both now have that model. I’m very curious as to both of your impressions. I really dig the Jungle Green CF model. (Talk me into it, please).![]()
Thanks buddy ! I I’ll take “the voice of reason” any day over Karens’ voice.I don’t think I can talk you into it brother. I'll say. That's the CruCarta version? I wouldn't have guessed as it's really darkened. I'd like to have my XL match my CC Manix2 without having to buy another knife, but so far any makers/sellers I've been in touch with aren't able to help. It’s the factory micarta that came with the knife. It’s darkened up a bit from carrying though.
Yep. Bare bones Crucarta Manix2 XL. A little Sno Seal with darken up your micarta.I'll say. That's the CruCarta version? I wouldn't have guessed as it's really darkened. Yup......Been playing with chain saws since I could walk...Very nice!!! Love the old forestry saws!
I’ve got a Jonsered 2071 turbo with a 48” bar. I get that out for special trees. Haha. She’s an old girl, but runs like a top.
And also an interesting fact…Jonsered’s are made by Husky.![]()
That's a great looking set. I confess to not knowing the knife, but it's a bold color choice. And who is the maker on that nuk?
Well yes and no.....I remember using old Jonsereds in the early 1980s, they were made when the company was still independent . The company was bought up by Electolux in the late 1970s, then ownership went to Husqvarna in the mid-late 90s, and they phased out the brand a few years ago. The 2071 was the same as the Husqvarna 371x, they are what, 20 something years old now I think?Very nice!!! Love the old forestry saws!

Now you're talkin' I can't get enough nice Canoes !This is the small penknife that’s been in my pocket continuously for 10 to 15 years. The boat design is my personal favourite, as is the colour green - win, win!
