Sorry to hear your news, friend. We've had a lot of pets over the years, with eight dogs and two cats gone, and the end for all doesn't get any easier. The happy memories last, though, and the love for a new furry friend gets re-kindled.

Dogs are valued members of the family, and it's always sad to have to let them go, but it's best not to let them suffer.

We have a pet cemetery at the end of our property, by the stream. We planted a willow tree there, and it's really a nice spot. I told my wife that she should scatter my ashes around there when I die. I can't think of any other place that I'd rather be than with all my old dogs.
