Here's today's carry.

on top we have the Buck 791 Range Elite Crossbar. The Buck 791 Range Pro meets my needs perfectly. That said, I want blade steel manufacturing in the US as well as Dr. Larin Thomas to succeed, thus I ponied up for this one. Since Crucible went bankrupt Dr. Thomas and a couple of companies are continuing the fight.

Next up, we an Old Forge stockman with orange bone covers. Old Forge is one of Smoky Mountain Knife's brands. Phenomenal bang for the buck at $20. Even better, the blades are D2.

A Hogue Deka w/ aftermarket scales is shown at bottom. The Hogue Deka w/ Magnacut that floats at $120-$140 is a phenomenal value for the dollar. Less expensive knives have captured my imagination. I got this one, a Hogue OTF and a couple of Benchmade's before discovering this.

Getting caught up here and saw we have the small Strizh. Amazingly sturdy feather-weight construction on that model. Mine has a Vanadis 8 blade. What's yours?

Really missed your posts lately, what I would enjoy is some pictures with your chef creations from the grill.

Miss being more active here! I still stalk everyone here and there, but have been busy with work and the family . Cookouts have been limited so I haven’t done much, but I’ll certainly post the next one! Hope you’re doing well brother !
