EDITED: Prices slashed even MORE; Collection reduction due to divorce; Microtech, Protech, McNees, Hoback, Benchmade and more well below retail.

Person wants to sell something, knives, equipment whatever, describes items accurately, posts relevant pictures states the prices . OK.

Person adds a shed load of totally irrelevant background BS trawling for sympathy, sob story trying to gaslight people. Not OK and should be a red flag or rather a redline for anybody. Why do people want to be touched or influenced by details that have nothing to do with anything? Conartists' enablement. You don't know who I am but you're going to hear a fairy-tale starring me.

Same person then miraculously undergoes a chain of mishaps that would make even the writer of soap-opera scripts squirm  the imagination is at breaking-point...but no it's compounded by further drama and ill starred luck but it will buy time...especially since this all weirdly happens after the money has been received....

Person falls silent, buyers naturally begin to worry or fear the worst. Pressure builds up from many quarters then the person starts to release the goods in dribs and drabs but seems to need constant reminders to do so and more reminders about addresses and who bought what. But then, trauma can lead to a crippling amnesia until it's the next time to go forth and sell something.... Yet multiple co-incidences or lifestyle hijacks intrude plus adversity making it impossible. Snake-Oil. But it all ended happily, to an extent...

Dont forget the part where he is a retired marine, retired lawyer and retired LEO.

Well yesterday he claimed in a text message that he didn't make it to the Post Office in time...says he will mail the UTX-85 Monday.
On another note he did send me a refund for the SBR this morning.
This situation sure has turned around in a very positive way. There have been so many similar type "Ugly" GBU stories/thread's posted here over the years, that didn't have very positive outcomes, so this turn of events has been a very pleasant surprise.

Hopefully you'll be updating us here soon that you have in fact received your MT UTX; I believe that you're the last member involved here, still waiting on your knife, correct?

I have received my knife (Arcform Slimfoot Auto) today in the condition described.
For some reason, I cannot send feedback to him; the system shows some problem...
I'm really happy that Jeff came through and you (and the other's here) got your knives. I'm guessing that you're unable to leave feedback for this transaction/P-Jeff, perhaps because his sales thread was moved from the Auto's selling sub-forum, here to the GBU? Or, maybe because the Mod's locked this thread once things started going sideways?

This may be a bit premature, but it;'s been very refreshing, seeing P-Jeff following through on his end. I honestly don't know what to believe, as far as everything he's posted, (I have much better things to spend my valuable time on other than speculating here 24/7).....
I sincerely would like to wish, P-Jeff the best in getting his personal issues sorted out; getting these obligations settled here, will go a long way in giving him the 'Peace of Mind', moving forward. Wishing him the best, taking care of the much more important obligations in life- personal health, & family.
God Bless

Huh, I guess we differ in our opinion of philly-jeff. You wish him the best and I wish he would stub his toe. Different strokes!

It’s good that members are getting their knives delivered finally after suffering through all of the drama. If these knives are factory originals, and in the condition as advertised, then they can put this experience behind them, and learn to research a bit more about the history of a seller for any future purchases.

Nice one.

I remember this FS thread.
Never knew it turned into a ShI#Storm.

I did know a guy who was Bad Luck Shlep Rock but was a man of his word.

Still the question remains.... Why didn't he post a copy of the police report or send a copy to his buyers.

Good to see some of you are getting refunds or a blade

Well everyone my UTX-85 arrived today and is just as described.
It took five weeks for him to get my knife to me but I'm sure happy that this fiasco is over and done with.
Mods, do what you have to do so that this clown can't get a chance to do this to anybody ever again.
I thank everyone for their support.
Have a great week,
Bob S.
