EDK knife with most discreet pocket clip?

The Chaparral can be closed easily one handed. Simply choke back on the handle, depress the lock button, and give it a little wrist action, and the blade will unlock. Fingers will be in the way, but the choil will hit your index finger, preventing your fingers from having any contact with the blade.

Okay, just bought this knife, 11.36 cents shipped from China of ebay:

They also have the Sanremo with both the plastic handles and the aluminum handles. Which should I get? The price is the same.

The aluminum is 2 bucks more, and I am thinking may scratch and be sliver underneath.

Oh c'mon! Splurge and get an Mnandi. It's the ultimate discreet gentlemans knife. If you use it at work people are more likely to want to see it than be afraid, especially with a nice inlay. Plus the clip looks like an expensive pen's clip.
In my dreams! It's beautiful, but at 350, too much for me.

Striders flamed pocket clip is quite discreet.
Their clip is nice, but it 200 more than my budget.

I've never had a knife with a wire clip, but for me the knife that blends in with almost anything would be my small sebenza. It doesn't matter if I'm wearing light jeans/dark jeans or khaki shorts, it's very discreet and barely noticeable unless you really look for it.

Does it have a clip? I can't see on in the pics. It's lovely, but also a few hundred too expensive. I've got a budget of 100.

I am sure you are right, I could learn how to close them one handed. But isn't that different than a knife like my mini grip which is designed to close with one hand?

Sanrenmu 763
Damn, its got axis lock and its only like 25 bucks! Is BM lisencing its axis lock to anyone else?

No, they aren't. That is what is known in this country as a patent infringement. In China, it's known as business as usual.

use a sog mini aegis they are awesome and have extremely descreet clips

You are right, and the clip goes all the way to the end of the knife, so it will go deep into your pocket.

Nicely priced, too, ebay has them new for 32 bucks.

Spyderco Sage 1 is my pick for discreet carry. The black wire clip blends right in and the knife rides low.

S30V is a very good premium steel, and the knife has superb fit and finish.

Some nice Spydercos above, and they're always a good choice. I carry a Boker Subcom IWB, and it's very hard to spot behind a belt.

I was 10 feet or more from a security guard at a casino when he spotted mine and told me to leave it in the car lol

I don't want it hidden, because my knives all the time, and I don't want to mess with my belt to do that.

Okay, I also bought a Sanrenmu 763, 11.50 shipped off ebay. I set up a search that will email me when any of these recommendations come up for less that 40 bucks to start. I'll follow those auctions and see what else I can pick up. Is there a way to search for knives with deep carry pocket clips? That may be what I am looking for.

You USE you knives all the time? Yeah, that's not a problem, so do I. Mine rides IWB at my strong side, just clip it on there with the clip behind your belt. You don't have to move your belt when you need your knife, just unclip it as you would normally, the belt just hides the clip.

First, I'm not sure why closing it one-handed is such a big deal. Usually the point is to get the knife OPEN one-handed. However, my daily carry is a Centofante 3, a lockback. I close it with my thumb, blade facing away from me, then move my fingers and slide the spine of the knife against my thigh or backside to smoothly close it. I have no fear whatsoever of being cut by this method, and the knife can be opened, used and closed so fast that most people don't see it come out. Practice. Also, it is MUCH better to spend $50-$100 on a great knife rather than spend $11-$12 on a bunch of crappy ones that you have to sharpen every five minutes and will fail you when you need them, possibly by lock failure or something else just as dangerous to your fingers. Do you really want a cheap knife in your pocket?

Get a Spyderco Chaparral, seriously, it's an excellent little knife. I carry mine every day with my Large Sebenza 21. The lock is very smooth and it easily opens and closes with one hand. I have no issues doing so with mine.
Perfect little EDC blade.

Or a Sage would be great too.

Sanrenmu and Enlan make decent knives for the price. I wouldn't worry about locking mechanism as any of them work just fine.

I would however get a more expensive knife, it's going to last a lot longer and have much better quality. S30V is a great steel.

Take a look at the Al Mar Mini Sere. Discreet, high-riding clip in a small knife. The Buck Vantage also has a high-riding clip.

If you're looking for a custom clip, contact Steven T. Rice.

Many good suggestions so far. You may also want to look at the Boker Plus Hyper. It's a solid knife with a low-rider clip and very affordable...

ETA: the non-locking side is G-10. It may not be a very dressy looking folder, but it'll ride nice and flat in your pocket.
