Eleagant and Refined knives

Thanks, I also love how the ivy vine pattern continues from the laser cut scales into the engraved bolsters, it's pretty unique and like I say, she cuts well too !

On mine, I did adjust the tang end of the blades so that they open a little further, so there isn't as much of an angle from blade to handle when opened, to my eyes it just looks better, I know folks have said that it was a design feature, but wasn't something I liked with the blades open.

The Ivy series also has several other Case patterns too, but the peanut seemed about right to me, and so she rides everyday in my watch pocket, and is used pretty much every day too.

Man there are some amazing knives in this thread, my lowly small Case Ivy Peanut will look a little out of place, but I do find this knife to be one of the handiest and most complimented knife when I take her out to cut something at work or about anywhere, I've yet to have anyone be skittish of it because it is a knife, it's just well accepted,

for a small folder, at about 2 3/4" closed, it does quite well on most any cutting chore;

Gary ,

We all know how many knives traverse through your palms so that Peanut must just about hold the record for how long it's stayed with you :)
It must be good .
That Peanut and the Flash Seahorse you had always struck me as Elegant and Refined .
I only have a couple of knives that I consider to be Elegant and Refined , my knife requirements are work related so anything not built like a tank is out of the ordinary and Refined for me .

I just got this one today but I think it definitely qualifies. It's a big honkin' blade, but it still looks rather sleek and elegant.

I wish they had my favorite muskrat in ivy, I don't know which one to get yet. Probably the mini copperlock. Love the urban trapper, very smart. Agreed on CKF, my Gratch is my favorite pocket knife. It has kind of a "dark" theme though with the CF and dark anno, right now I'm craving a light-silvery-satin-polished-white-powder-blue-theme-kinda-knife. BTW CKF have a sweet integral out called the Tegral.

Hey that's me! I made three of the inTIGrals. The frames were two pieces then TIG welded down the spine. Integrated over travel stop milled into the lock side and a bunch of other features on them I've never seen before. I have a new folder in process currently actually that's similar but had even more detail added to it. I still plan to make more just like this but a bit thinner to keep the weight down. Those blades were .200" thick.

The top blade is going to be sold by boos blades, the bottom one is called the Zodiac Engineering Integral V1, I believe it was a small run through kick started but you'll have to follow their social media to see when the next ones will be released its zodiaceng.com or @zodiaceng on Instagram but in the mean time here's more pictures from them

Some very elegant knives in this thread. Another vote for CKF. The Sukhoi has some pretty sweet lines. The frame lock "flow" mirrors the opposite side - not a common feature in a frame lock.

This is also my most elegant blade. Sent mine to Josh for a mirrored edge and now she is perfect! Such a beautiful and smooth knife that is extremely well made!
Nice pics!

Marfione does some elegant shit.

I'm sure that edge is something to behold! This has been my most carried modern folder this year - which is saying something for a guy who changes out knives like a pair of socks:)

You have to see the way this bad boy cuts Joel!!! Josh did an amazing job!
She is elegant........but that edge makes her nasty too!!

That thing is sweet! I actually like the blade thickness as-is. It's very distinctive. Please keep us updated on your progress.

Some really awesome knives in this thread.

I have been eyeing the Ti lock, I think that passes for an elegant and refined knife. I haven't seen one in person though.

Here are three that I think fit the bill. CRK insingo, Alan Davis slipjoint and a hinderer with a textured carbon fiber scale.
