For sure about the color, Paul. GEC released some #77 Yankee Jacks a few years back in pretty light reddish brown ebony, that's probably what it is.

Yes. I have an ebony GEC 15 that is very similar in color to this schrade.

If only Duncan. From what I've seen I know where there is one axe and the owner claims to know of one other, but that one is unsubstantiated. I've heard from @William Schrade and I'm hoping he may have more info.

Picked up a bone Schrade Walden 3 3/8" Cattle knife. corrosion from age with full blades. This knife has 3 blades packed into a small package, last picture shows it compared to a single blade Schrade Barlow.

This one certainly was well-loved (and used), but it should qualify as elusive. An SCC with arched stamp. It still snaps good!

Knives don't have to be minty to be collectible, IMO!!! Or Elusive!!
