Elusive Schrades

thanks so much for the quick reply! You have an awesome collection to be envious of! You’re red bone case knives thread are what got me into collecting vintage slipjoints especially old Barlows!

Been awhile since I've been able to land a nice Schrade but managed this bone handle 861. Really nice jumping, it was put on after the knife was finished and goes into the bolsters.

Hi Blake, I think this would land somewhere between 1917-1946. Dasco looks to have been in the forged hand tool business since 1922.

Picked up this boy scout chow kit at an antique mall. Had a single digit price tag so why not. Snap has pulled out but both pieces are there.
