Paul, any idea what years of manufacture would be between the match strike pulls and the ones without?
The answer is both. Schrade made the 301 from ‘66 - ‘71 ( the 303 from ‘67-‘71) then Buck awarded the contract to Camillus, who then made them and other 300 series until Buck brought the stockman in house. My picture is of a Schrade made 301 from the second version so ‘67-‘72.Nice knife, CHN, but were those early Bucks made by Schrade, or was it Camillus?
