Elusive Schrades

Not sure if this will be considered an "Elusive" but I've been trying to track down a Schrade with a serrated blade ever since waynorth waynorth posted one! This is New old stock but noticed patina under the hardened factory oil.

I believe the English Jack has undergone a transformation over the years, perhaps serving as a vital backup to unreliable single-shot pistols in centuries gone by! But now serving more genteel, and less essential purposes, it is still nice to see them featuring a lock-back blade for extreme uses if needed, and recalling their storied pasts!!

Charlie that's my ultimate grail knife right there. Just an incredible execution of the pattern. couldn't get any more pristine either. what a great example!

Yes sir, it's not an opportunity that comes around often so I pulled the trigger.
So you're the one buying up those nice Schrades from the site that shall not be named!

Pretty nice Schrade Walden 2OT showed up today, close to full blades, good snap with no play, looks used but not abused.
Real nice one, John!! Perfect condition to tote around a bit without devaluing it!!👍
Those 2OTs are in a class by themselves!! Baer was smart to keep that pattern going when he bought Schrade!! Here's one (on the right);2202 3-4 Trio.jpg with its Schrade Cut Co ancestors (2202 and 2303 3/4)!! Schrade used the term "Washington Bolster" back in the late 1920s!
