New scans of this English Jack!!View attachment 1615578View attachment 1615579View attachment 1615585
I believe the English Jack has undergone a transformation over the years, perhaps serving as a vital backup to unreliable single-shot pistols in centuries gone by! But now serving more genteel, and less essential purposes, it is still nice to see them featuring a lock-back blade for extreme uses if needed, and recalling their storied pasts!!
Charlie that's my ultimate grail knife right there. Just an incredible execution of the pattern. couldn't get any more pristine either. what a great example!
Eric
Thanks guys!! I too agree!! It is visually a treat, and philosophically an ecstasy!!Eric I couldn’t agree more with you Sir. That knife is Stunning!

It couldn't be more well preserved !
Yes sir, it's not an opportunity that comes around often so I pulled the trigger.
Real nice one, John!!Pretty nice Schrade Walden 2OT showed up today, close to full blades, good snap with no play, looks used but not abused.
Real nice one, John!!Perfect condition to tote around a bit without devaluing it!!
Those 2OTs are in a class by themselves!! Baer was smart to keep that pattern going when he bought Schrade!! Here's one (on the right);View attachment 1618666 with its Schrade Cut Co ancestors (2202 and 2303 3/4)!! Schrade used the term "Washington Bolster" back in the late 1920s!
Ha Ha!! Great minds wind up with a great many knives!!!Thanks Charlie, that's what I thought, I have a mint one but this one will be great to carry sometimes.
