Elusive Schrades

May not be as elusive as others but I had a tough time trying to get my hands on one of these :)

Would like to comment that on few of the Schrade Waldens I have, the fit quality are out of this world. When some one advertises, "flush on all positions", refer to these in comparison...Other than few of my custom slip joints, I don't see this level of flush half-stops on others, including GECs...

Nice Electrician, Ken!! (name right?)
Schrade did make them well!!!

I haven't posted these Big'uns for a while!! Based on the R2973 pattern, they are variations; at 4 1/4", they are
a Moose, 2 Rope knives and 2 Big Jacks!!
One Rope has an old-style can opener, and the Moose has a Spear and a Clip!!
Nice Big examples of Schrade's workmanship!!
The second one down is a Schrade Walden - the other 4 are Schrade Cut Cos!!Big whale ropes 3.jpg

Wanted to post these pictures in this thread also. Group of sheepsfoot jacks, most are Cut Co's, only 2 early Waldens, the earliest Cut Co has an arched tang stamp. Has not been an easy collection to put together, I have been lucky enough to have a lot of help from knife friends.
