Elusive Schrades

Now you're talkin', Cal, love seein' the bone versions. I have a nice SW 825, but it's Delrin.

"The Model 8813 was introduced in 1926 by Schrade Cut Co as the Premium Texas Stock Knife and in 1952 the pattern number was shortened to 881. The 881 inked on the blade but not stamped on the back of the tang of the main blade would indicate 1952 production. Also there was a model shown in the “Elusive Schrades” thread said to have been only in the catalogue in 1953-54 and the pics showed the “Schrade Walden NY USA” tang stamp. This one reads “Schrade Walden NY” further encouraging the 1952 hypothesis."
