Elusive Schrades

Thanks Paul and Dave!

Nice Congress, and Fisherman Dave!
Is that Fisherman's knife stamped "stainless"?

Just outstanding Schrade examples Duncan, John, Charlie and Dave:thumbsup::thumbsup:! I love visiting this thread and seeing such beautiful and truly elusive Schrade knives. If this kind of "eye candy" doesn't increase your pulse, cause your perspiration to elevate and make you a little more anxious, nothing will:eek: Lloyd

Charlie and Dave, I believe I have the stag version of that congress:

Very nice, Eric and Paul!

Those stag covers are very uncommon.... so uncommon that I recognize the knife as one that I had been watching! Haha! Good to see that it has a good home, Eric! :)

Thanks guys, already have a couple of stags so when I saw that one come up I nearly fell off my chair hitting the BUY button. They come up VERY rarely!

Jeff - nice Uh's matey, I have a real soft spot for both the 165's and the Sharp Fingers, those two are awesome!

Woodrow it was a jigging machine but I have no idea how it worked, I may know someone who has one though, might be able to get him to shoot me a picture of it.

Here's another stag Cut Co:

I'm really curious then! The Schrade Peachseed seems random. Modern versions of this pattern like GEC's are much more uniform.

BTW, beautiful knife!

Woodrow, I believe the bone was run through the blades by hand. The operator had to get the speed it ran over the blades just right.

Eric, what an exceptional Cut Co.!
Some of the most beautiful covers I've seen on a pocket knife. Is that jigged stag?

Jeff, no that's unadulterated stag. What's amazing is how white the interior is compared to the exterior, especially after at least three quarters of a century. Definitely don't see much of that nowadays.

Very nice UH's by they way!

Eric
