Hmmm. its interesting that you say that WW. Personally, (and this is just my opinion that means nothing) the whole zombie thing and the knives that are aimed to making a profit on it is the armpit of the knife industry. But, like I said, its just my opinion and that doesn't mean that others aren't entitled to there's. However, Murph brought a Zomstro that was gifted to him to the Shop a little over a month ago to hit the mod table. (against my wishes) but, Murph has definitely earned his spot and free run of the shop, so, If it means something to him, I wont say no, but at the same time I have to make sure regaurdless of the project, it is represents the shop. Im pleased to say, the very close to end product is pretty cool, even for a project I really didn't want to do.............I guess i've probably let a little to much out of the bag. but I'm sure Murph will have a thread devoted to it very soon for everyone to check out.
 
Todd, since you're down there still viewing the thread... y'all got any more of the t-shirts like Murph has on?

Hey Todd, will my Magua be in this batch or the next one?
I want to be able to cut up some squirrel with one of your knives this year.:D

WW. lay off the Pepsi, take 2 Unisoms, and call me in the morning! Lol. I'll have to find some pics and send you PM. Its not going anywhere buddy, Gotta give me a little time, Ive spent 2 hrs on the interweb answering questions and Emails. plus the last 6 listening to Murphs sh!t. Im beat, tired, pissed, hungry, and a little horny. All of those things put you at the bottom of the list. Lol. :D But don't worry, I'll take care of you best I can, but Im gonna need tomarrow to get you info and pics! Im just one man!.............................Well, one man and Murph......that still equals one man. :D
 
Yea i never jumped on any of the zombie bandwagon, but i do like that zombie case and some of the zombie knives shapes, like the zomstro looks like a beast of a chopper, But i dont care for the marketing it towards zombies. i HATE the walking dead, im tired of everything vampire, werewolf, and zombie related, if i was to use one of them knives it would be with the black handles. If they painted that box black and just put a kabar logo on it id have wanted it for SURE! might already have bought it, And id have put all black handles on the knives. but still as is the setup on a wall would be cool as a conversation piece.

Like my first post says ill prolly pass on it, or put it on my xmas list and the wife will pass on it lmao, but i agree the marketing towards zombies is tired

TMHunt custom knives is growing, and the t-shirt thing is gonna happen. however, there are a lot of irons in the fire and the shirts are a priority, but one at the bottom of the list, when I do have some. You guys will be the first to know.

Your Magua is actually the last of two I have on my bench right now. Cut, Stamped, heat treated, and ready to go together, just need some material for the handles and it will be ready to go. However, since squirrel season comes in this next weekend, and I have yet to place a order, you might want to have a back up, or come squirrel hunting with me and you can use whatever knife you want! :D

No worries man, get that "horny" thing taken care of before i go on the list lmao, i dont want be the victim of that lol, i didnt mean i wanted you to drop everything and work on my design either so please dont think that, take your time, when you said you had something in mind i just got excited is all, and by throw a bone i just meant... hey WW its purty lol, or here is a hint the handle will be wood lol anything even its going to be a knife... would do fine right now :)

Oh and unisoms are skittles, i tried them as a young teen before we tried ambien and others... none of that stuff works on me. Went without caffeine for a week to see if it helped keep me up, i was just awake and cranky then. Herbs relax me some, some natural teas help a very little, but all in all i have excepted being awake most the time. i get 2-4 hours a night on good days, and sometimes i go 2 or 3 nights with no sleep.

Most the time i am happy to have the house quiet to myself, but occasionally i get bored and lonely but im use to it at this point.

Saweet!

Our squirrel season lasts several months, so there will be plenty opportunity for me.:D

The last knife I bought was a Leatherman (I use that sucker every day at work) a couple months ago. I have been holding out for a couple knives I've got on order, and am just getting a little antsy. Like a kid at Christmas time.

No hurry, I don't have any desire to experience a pissed off Todd.:D

If you are ever in the area, bring your squirrel gun. I've got a little bit of hunting acreage at my disposal.

I feel your pain bro. I don't sleep either, However, my problem is opposite of yours. I can take a unisom and it puts me to sleep, but IF I can get up in the morning, I am prone to falling over at any time of the day and snoring face down in the florr till about 3:00 in the afternoon. I actually have a Dr. appointment at the end of this month to discuss what I need to do. because a Todd with no sleep is a Todd that nobody likes.

That sounds awesome man! Squirrel hunting is one of my favorite things in the world. Your only one state over from me. maybe we can work out a delivery/hunt day. Id love that. what part of Ill. do you hail?

A few hours later i slept for about an hour and a half and went home. I have no idea what good it did, i dont know the point, it was a waste of my life, and i hope you dont have to go through that.

that was 15 years ago or so, but if its like that now IT IS HELL.
 
Yes, but the videos on youtube make it hard for me to follow along, basically im trying to make a couple turk heads on a hawks handle....

I want to put them on here, this is mine.

That bottom photo looks complicated, like there are the working ends of the top Turk's head used for the handle weave..I think you want to tie a couple of "square" Turk's heads...there's a way to make it using your hand as the "loom". It's in a book that I have, but I haven't tried looking for it on the web. I will try to find it tomorrow for you - gotta b up early for work so I'm gonna sign off for now
