Embark on a new snark

Tried out the Coleman Peak 1 before tossing the box. Great little stove for under $25. I had boiling water in under 3 minutes and a hard, rolling boil at about 4.5. My only druther is that the stove and canister would fit together in the Stanley cookpot.

That's the stove we took out west. Nice big burner never scorched a thing. Performed like a champ in the wind too.

V did good on the bag. It's handy as hell getting just the right size bag made for your bidness.

Is that a 4oz Biscuit?

More like 6. But in my dirty vodka martinis, I do 3 oz. vodka, 1/2 oz. vermouth, 1/2 oz. olive juice, plus I probably get a little melt from the ice.
That's just over 4 oz. in the glass and then some displacement from the olives. Just about right actually.

It really is a nice big base and good flame control. Stop bragging on it before I order another one. Just a matter of time before crazy stove man takes over my psyche.

Okay, I decided to try and remember all the stoves I own.

Oh yeah, the Swiss Volcano stove can go with the "Found Fuel" versions.

Derek, here you go. Pic of the camp shaker and a camp glass. Because only the uncouth drink martinis from a camp mug.

The glasses break down and nest.

How do you like that Tito's? I have a bottle in my freezer, haven't popped it yet. I am finishing off some Vesica which isn't bad, as a mixed drink vodka. I don't think it would be bad in a martini but I don't like to drink it straight. The bottle is nifty though, the bottles nest together and they don't roll around since they are half moon shaped.

I a bottle of American Harvest one day last week, it wasn't bad, again though it wasn't a sipping vodka. It was more of a "lets get (...)ed up" vodka.

Ok, it's pretty clear to me you need to enter a 12-step program!

But seriously, why no XGK?

I don't whether to be impressed or feel sorry for you.

Probably going to settle for befuddlement.

by George, I am home. Which means the Buffalo Trace, Stoli, and Jameson are all options!
wow.

You're kidding right? You don't have a 533?

Surely you inadvertently left it off the list.

Daizee, let me know how much I owe you.

Also, even though the knife I got the other day didn't come with a sheath, I yanked the remora sheath out of the front of my BK-9, and trimmed it down, and shoved it back in there, it now looks like it was made for it! I was quite pleased with myself!

I think that's the same type of stove I was issued in Iraq.

I'd say it probably was. It's only the most reliable, versatile, bomb proof stove you can buy. Trust me, he's got one. He just forgot to list it.

trash picked a MSR Whisperlite and MSR fuel bottle. nice.
