Just ordered another PPQ, this time in 9mm (not the M2, cause I don't like button releases)... I kinda want to see if I can't make some Becker scales that somewhat match the texturing.

Here's the question--what's the best Becker to match a polymer handgun? I'm thinking 15 or 17 right now...

I've got an Eddie Bauer pack that's never been used - nice pack, "tree camoflage", could bring it to the gathering and talk trade goods if you like.

Dubs - I've got the UTG copy of a maxped jumbo and like it a lot -- the bottle pocket on the side holds a quart bottle nicely.

That is the one that I have too. I love it, however with mine I noticed when loaded the clip on the shoulder strap wouldn't hold. But I threw the Maxpedition 3" Tac-Ties around it and it holds perfect now.

If you go with it, let me know I can send you the other two.
 
never had a problem with mine and it's carted some pretty heavy loads a time or 2.
 
Oh, I forgot that was the same one C-bear was talking about. I think I'm just gonna get another small sling bag. I just want it to carry a few items with anywhos.
 
I should just see if anyone has one they'd be willing to trade.

On a side note, I have more problems with this site. I used to think it was Firefox, but I no longer use it, and have been using Maxthon, which is 10 times faster. Still have the same issues.
 
There was just a couple of things I would have changed on it personally. I realize I'm probably wearing it on the wrong side (I wear it on my left shoulder/right hip) but it puts the clip behind me so I have to reach behind to get my keys off it, and that side release clasp doesn't seem to hold. Neither one is really a big issue for me, for the $35 I'm happy with it. My glasses ride in the top pocket, I have my FAK attached to the front molle strap, I have my licenses for work in the card pocket (riding in a esee card holder) and I have it loaded with my get home gear (including pistol and ammo in the gun pocket.) I'm not sure what it weighs in at but it's a fairly good load out.
 
Just ordered another pack and you guys are to blame, I swear that I ne'er had so many things I didn't need until I came to bladeforums.

Dubz, I carry a US Peacemaker bag, which unfortunately doesn't have enough room for a water bottle. Other than that it's nice. My wife carries one of those UTG bags as her purse and loves it.

Also, Bladeforums works fine for me with Chrome. I haven't used Firefox for more than a year now.

I have a water bottle pouch I can attach. I put a CS folder on the exchange. Trying to sell it, to fund a sling bag.

I do need a couple stoves, I do. I was thinking aling the lines propane and a Trangia.

Warrior, just so you know, your mostly to blame. I ordered a sling bag last night, can't say which one cos I order from China, anyway more of a shoulder bag deal so it can be worn at my side with backpack on. Going back for a more milliatary type looking MOLLE sling bag similar to the Messenger bag posted above and 1 or 2 aluminum Water Bottle caries to strap to it.
